Tahini Frosting

Description

This tahini frosting is super nutty and creamy. You can pair it with honey, chocolate and cakes to add earthy flavor to your baked goods.

Instructions

  • With a stand mixer or hand-held electric whisk, beat the butter or margarine until creamy. Add the tahini and icing (confectioners’) sugar.
  • Beat for several minutes until fluffy. hip in the vanilla extract, espresso and salt.
  • Chill – Refrigerate in an airtight container for 1 week. Bring to room temperature, then whip until creamy.
  • Freeze – Freeze in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
  • Defrost – Let thaw, then whip until creamy and soft.
