Oat Biscuits
Description
This oat biscuits recipe is everything you need for wholesome goodness of oats. These are crunchy and delicious with a slight sweetness to them. You can enjoy them with tea or as they are.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C fan-forced (180°C conventional). Line two large baking trays with baking paper.
- Combine the oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a medium bowl. Place the butter, golden syrup or treacle and 30ml water into a medium saucepan and place over low heat. Stir until melted and evenly combined. Stir in the bicarb soda until foaming, then pour into the dry ingredients.
- Stir the mixture until evenly combined. Roll heaped tablespoonfuls of the mixture into balls, then place 5cm apart on the trays and flatten slightly. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the middle. Allow to cool on trays for 4-5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
